Pacman’s fastest knockout victories

As the countdown to Manny Pacquiao's fight versus Shane Mosley intensifies, speculation about its outcome has also reached fever pitch. While Mosley has never been knocked out, Pacman's staunch supporters are saying that Pinoy champ may be the first boxer to pull it off. There's a good chance that he will.
In the past, Pacman had knocked out some of his opponents faster than you could say, "Let's get ready to rumble."

With a record of 52 wins, including 38 knockouts (KOs), Pacman has recorded some of the fastest knockout wins in boxing history. In his 38 KOs, 13 were full knockouts, meaning Pacman won the match after delivering a fight-ending blow or combination that rendered his opponent down on the canvass and unable to rise after the ten second count. The rest were Technical Knockouts (TKOs).

Done in less than three minutes: Round 1 casualties
Manny proved to four different boxers that his flurry of punches in round 1 was enough to get the quick and easy win.
In his 1996 bout with South Korean Wook-Ki Lee, Pacman proved that he only needs a minute to win it. The non-title fight in Makati lasted for one minute and four seconds (1:04).
In 1997, Fellow Filipino Michael Luna never saw what hit him when he faced Pacquiao in Muntinlupa City. The 25-year-old boxer lasted for a minute and fifty six seconds (1:56) before going down cold.
Thai boxer Panomdej Or Yuthanakorn's Philippine visit in 1997 was both short-lived and disappointing as Pacman cut his night short in their OPBF flyweight clash. The match lasted for only a minute and 38 seconds (1:38).
In 2002, Pacman knocked out Thai boxer Fahprakorb Rakkiatgym with 14 seconds left in round one. Rakkiatgym was knocked down several times and rushed to a Davao hospital in a stretcher after lying down on the canvass for more than 20 minutes.

It only took 73 landed punches in six short minutes to get the job done and the result was a British boxer on the canvass.
The 2009 title match between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky "Hitman" Hatton was much-hyped but surprisingly short-lived. Coming off a win over De La Hoya, Pacquiao was more impressive against the Hitman, knocking him down two times in the first round before finally stopping him in the second round with a vicious left blow that dropped Hatton for good.
Only Freddie Roach, Pacquiao's trainer, had predicted correctly the outcome, saying that Manny can "stop Ricky Hatton in the first three rounds."
Third time's the charm: Round 3 meltdowns
In a third and deciding rubber match with Erik Morales, Pacquiao proved to be the better boxer by stopping his Mexican rival with a thunderous left hook with three seconds left in the round. Having defeated other Mexicans before, the remarkable victory in 2006 cemented Pacquiao's title as the "Mexicutioner."
The rivals split their first two matches, with Morales winning a unanimous decision and Pacquiao countering with a TKO victory over "El Terrible."
In 1995, Pacman also knocked out Filipino boxer Arman Rocil in the third round.
Relentless thrashing: Round 4 victims
In 1999, Pacquaio rightfully defended his WBC Flyweight Title against Gabriel Mira at the Araneta Coliseum. Mira was worn out entering the fourth round and Pacquiao put the Mexican to sleep with a knockout punch with fifteen seconds remaining.
A year later, Pacquaio again came out victorious in the fourth round after pounding Australian boxer Arnel Barotillo in their WBC International Super Bantamweight Title fight.
In a Featherweight clash in 2004, Pacman was too fast and too strong for Fahsan Por Thawachai as he went down after Pacman's powerful left uppercut.
A brief title match: Round 5 judgment
On June 26, 1997, the boxing fans in Mandaluyong were looking forward to a hard-fought OPBF Flyweight Title match. Sadly, then newcomer Manny Pacquiao had other ideas. Pacquaio connected on a fatal blow that knocked out Thai boxer Chokchai Chockvivat with fourteen seconds left in round five.
